I am a life-long lover of exercise! Growing up, I played t-ball, softball, track, cross country, and ultimate frisbee. I had the pleasure of coaching track, cross country, and Girls on the Run. For several years, I taught strength, Insanity, PiYo, foam rolling, deep stretch, and pilates at the YMCA. These days, my focus is on cycling, lifting, yoga, walking, and mobility work.

As an adult, a love of balance and healthy habits has helped me to continue to move and feel better and happier. I have been honored to share my knowledge with others through accountability groups and writing strength and cycling plans for friends over the past twenty years.

One may think being healthy has been easy for me as a life-long athlete.  Injuries resulting in four separate surgeries as an adult along with delivering two babies all sidelined me for months at a time.  Divorce, single-parenting, and other life struggles definitely caused detours along the way.  No, it hasn't always been easy.  Yes, I had to take breaks.  But I know that taking care of myself has always made taking care of others easier.

I believe movement is medicine, but I also believe rest and recovery are equally as important. Finding balance in our busy lives can be a challenge, but by taking small steps, it can be done. I would love to share my passion with you to help you find your way to your healthiest, happiest life!
